About

An artist is a person who by virtue of imagination and talent or skill is able to create works of art…..(thank you, Websters Dictionary)

That is me in a nutshell. I have been creating that art since before I can remember. Whether it be singing in the studio, acting and dancing on stage or writing a brand new song, I was born an artist.

Most recently Marissa has been seen starring in the Off-Broadway production of “BedBugs the Musical” & “My Big Gay Italian Wedding”. She is also taking the NYC nightlife buy storm performing in Marty Thomas Presents DIVA and her very own shows at Therapy Bar & The Time Out Lounge with Broadways Marty Thomas. Some favorite Credits include: Legally Blonde (Enid Hoopes), Footloose (Wendy Jo), Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes), Into the Woods (Little Red), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (BJ), Grease (Jan), Shout! the Mod Musical (Red Girl), Beware Bernadette: A Musical Fable (Bernadette), Bitty Bear’s Matinee (Bitty Bear) &  Sheldon Harnick’s The Fair haired Boy or The ABC’s of Success (Playwrights Theater).

I can only hope that the future brings me more and more chances to be creative and work with more amazingly  talented people.

“To persue a dream is like running a race, with every mile you run, the closer you come to reaching the  finish line….with every chance I get to perform, I complete a new creative mile in the race of my life.” - Marissa Rosen
